WHO IS KATHY ZANDER

Kathy is a mother, advocate, and relentless defender of families who have been devastated by the fentanyl crisis. When this epidemic struck her own family, Kathy refused to remain silent or accept the status quo. Instead, she turned personal loss into purpose—standing up for parents, children, and communities who deserve protection, accountability, and real leadership.

Her story is not rooted in politics, but in lived experience. Kathy understands the pain, confusion, and heartbreak fentanyl leaves behind, and she has dedicated her life to ensuring other families never have to endure the same loss. If you believe leadership should be driven by compassion and courage, Kathy’s story is one worth standing behind.

FROM ADVOCACY TO ACTION

Kathy’s commitment to change has never stopped at awareness. She took her fight directly to Washington, D.C., working alongside national leaders—including Kristi Noem—to demand stronger action against fentanyl trafficking and accountability at the highest levels of government. Her advocacy helped elevate the issue nationally, where fentanyl was recognized as a weapon of mass destruction threatening American families.

But Kathy understands that real change doesn’t happen through speeches alone—it requires persistence, pressure, and follow-through. She has proven she is willing to confront hard truths and challenge systems that fail families. If you want a leader who doesn’t back down when it matters most, Kathy has already shown she will stand firm.

BRING THE FIGHT TO DUPAGE COUNTY

Now, Kathy Zander is bringing that same determination home as a candidate for DuPage County Board – District 6. She is focused on confronting the drug crisis head-on, strengthening prevention and enforcement efforts, supporting law enforcement, and ensuring local government responds with urgency—not excuses. Kathy believes fentanyl is not just a national issue, but a local one that demands decisive action right here in DuPage County.

Through her nonprofit, My Child’s Life Matters, Kathy has already helped families access education, resources, and support while breaking the stigma that keeps so many suffering in silence. As a County Board member, she will continue that work—amplifying voices that have been ignored and putting families first in every decision. DuPage County deserves leadership that acts, not reacts.

WHY KATHY IS THE RIGHT CHOICE

Kathy Zander isn’t a career politician—she’s a proven fighter guided by empathy, accountability, and resolve. She understands the fentanyl crisis not as a talking point, but as a reality that is stealing lives every day. Kathy believes local government must protect children, support families, and confront threats to public safety with honesty and strength.

If you’re looking for a leader who has already stood up, spoken out, and made a difference—and who is ready to do the same for DuPage County—Kathy Zander is the clear choice. This is a moment that calls for courage, conviction, and compassion.
